Ack, haven't slept since yesterday morn, and I'm not feeling any adverse effects as of yet. Probably won't till 5 hours from now.
I'm like that.
Can't believe school is going to start again. It seems like an eternity since I was last required to don the pale white uniform. And yet, the year seems to have gone by so quickly. Ironically, it seems like it was only yesterday when I stepped out of primary school, leaving a close bunch of friends behind.
Its taken me this long, but I guess after this year I finally got new friends that I can count on, friends that I trust as much if not more than those dear old friends of 6/11 and 6/12.
This year I've fallen out of love, into love, out of it and back into it.
I've started writing, (somewhat), drawing or sketching or scribbling if you would be that derogatory, songwriting, and even attempted pieces of pathetic poetry. Overall a productive year I guess
I've learnt that its always necessary to risk the fall, if you want to spread your wings and fly.
I've learned that it doesn't matter even if you do, because there'll always be someone to catch you, or if there isn't, there'll be someone to pick you up, and tell you to keep moving on no matter how bloody and bruised you are.
I've learned that I still need to be hit on the head from time to time. It helps.
I've learned that I can't live without God and erm, unfortunately at this stage on with nearly parallel importance, music.
I've learned that although people will never admit, they rarely all hate you, that really, no ones gonna say good things about you without good reason for probable fear of inflating egos. But doesn't mean they don't think you're worthless and its better to assume the compliments than to wait for them appear because if you do you're gonna be severely disappointed.
And there you have it.
Valuable advice.
From er, a certainly unreliable source.
Well here's a quote I remember from a book, I think its Narnia, um , not exact quote, but that people spend all their time trying to get to one age, and spend the rest of their lives trying to stay that age.
15's that age for me,
Dammit I wanna stay Fifteen forever.
I'm not the only one.
