Playing for service was a great experience.
Somehow it just fills me with a pile of inadequacy though, especially after I went to see baybeats later on in the day.
The skillset that comes with playing in a band and playing piano, classical piano and improvisational piano is completely different.
I need to develop a better ear for things.
And I need to hang about people with better ears. The type of expertise that professional/semi-professional keyboardists have is very difficult to teach but still needs to be in a sense. It's a lot of experience and is really tough. I have no idea how anyone actually learns.
It's troubling.
Also, my songwriting sucks and I'm not going to go anywhere in life if it doesn't improve.

 Just another starstruck (see above for evidence*) wanderer trying to find his way in this horribly confusing and sometimes messed up world. This space as you might have realised is for my own venting. It's where I talk, to myself. To the universe. It's where I don't lie. Much.
