Whats with the 11.11 wish thingy.
I have no clue what the hell it is.
someone tell me.
SONGWRITING BLOCK. GAHHHHHH
Lyrics....not appearing. I got this tune and chord progression and everything but NO FREAKING LYRICS ARE APPEARING IN MY HEAD. GOODNESS.
And its not like the song can stand alone by itself without lyrics. Its meant to have lyrics.. Damn. I need help. This time.
GERMZ IF YOU READING THIS CAN HELP MEH WITH THE SONG.
Hehe after EOYs of course.
I shouldn't be spending time on songwriting now but when inspiration strikes you really have to write it down right a way if not it just vanishes. I always keep something with me just in case.

Country and pop superstar Taylor Swift had a debut album with five singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, two albums in the top ten at the end of 2008 and an album (Fearless) that topped the Billboard chart for eleven non-consecutive weeks. A songwriter since she was twelve years old, Taylor Swift is known for writing tunes about love and heartache. Consider these tips if you aspire to write songs like Taylor Swift.
Difficulty: ChallengingInstructions
1
Use your music to get over feelings for crushes and ex-boyfriends. Most of Taylor Swift's songs, like "Tim McGraw" (about a high school boyfriend going to college) and "Teardrops on My Guitar" (about a crush on a school friend), are written about love and memories. "Forever and Always," a last-minute addition to Fearless is an infamous dig on ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Taylor Swift often uses her songs as musical diaries to record her feelings.
2
Allow your songs to tell a story. Write songs like Taylor Swift hit "Love Story," which takes listeners from a first romantic meeting through a tumultuous courtship to a marriage proposal. Flesh out your lyrics with imagery and create a mood set to music that will reel your listeners in. Taylor Swift says she likes to write "conversational songs" that she can relate to.
3
Be inspired by music role models and let their styles, lyrics and body of work influence the songs you write. Taylor Swift has acknowledged that she was attracted to country music because of her love for the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill and Shania Twain, for example.
4
Learn to play an instrument and use it to generate the melody while you're composing song lyrics. Taylor Swift says she wrote her first song the same night she learned to play three chords on her guitar.
5
Write songs like Taylor Swift by taking a break until inspiration strikes rather than trying to force music and lyrics onto the page. Taylor has admitted in interviews that you "can never push songwriting." Keep a notebook and pen handy, however, to capture any brainstorms that hit while you're out and about.
1. and 2. are really if you want to write songs like Taylor Swift. as in if you want songs that sound like hers. Of course if your love life is very dead then too bad.
3. is ambiguous.
4. and 5. kinda hit it.
Though for 4. you don't use it to generate the melody. You generate the chords.
Ooh I found direct tips from Taylor Swift. Ummm...
Haha most are specific to her style of songwriting or already up there. Especially the don't force songwriting thing but. Here:
"if you can, in your songwriting, be as detailed as possible. Because for people to relate to it, they may not have the same details in their relationships that you have in yours but they can relate in that they had these little details of the relationships. The more honesty the better, the more details the better, the more direct the better."
Authenticity. hmm. I like.
