Chelsea scum, yes scum. And they have the nerve to complain about Manchester City. Why on earth should they, they did the exact same thing. Just years ago. Even with our new owners, we aren't going to splurge obscene amounts of cash like they do.
Take the January transfer window for example.
Chelsea decided that they wanted another striker. Specifically a certain Fernando Torres, 'cept for the fact that he's the star striker at Liverpool and definitely a key player. He would be expensive.
Their solution? Throw money at it. They bidded 50 million pounds for him. And Liverpool accepted. They also spent 20 million pounds on a defender called David Luiz.
In total they spent 70million pounds or more. The exact figures are unknown.
Liverpool, despite having filthy rich owners for the first transfer window in three years. Spent 22million pounds on a certain Luiz Suarez, and "shockingly" spent 35million pounds on newcastle striker Andy Carroll.
Yeah well the 57million pounds isn't really an expenditure.
You see we sold Torres, and we needed to replace him. Liverpool and NESV have been accused of throwing money around with Carroll, but how about Chelsea?
If you look at it our net expenditure is a measly 7 million pounds. Just more than enough to buy a third of David Luiz, who Chelsea conjured up 20million for.
Also, departing Liverpool during the same transfer window was the enigma Ryan Babel. It is widely believed that Hoffenheim paid upwards of 8 million for him.
If that were the case, Liverpool just profited 1million pounds.
Chelsea scum. Quit ruining the league.
