The closest you get to normal in Gundam Seed is Kira and Lacus.
One is a hyper-insensitive freak who has no qualms about murdering millions of people and doesn't say much. But follows Lacus around like a love-sick puppy.
The other's an overly sensitive girl who has no qualms about going around nearly naked in Air-conditioned environments, in front of almost anyone.
Not normal.

We could move on to Full Metal Panic?fumoffu.
But I shan't bother, its an action rom/comedy, thats all that needs to be said. You don't get normality in those animes.
One Piece pretty much qualifies as action comedy. Nope, no normality there.
