I'd like to blame a few people.

1.Poulsen
2. The person who played him
3. The person who put Meireles on the right.
4. The person who wants to turn Agger into a back up left back.

The draw was depressing.
Especially if you consider the fact that our first goal was really an example of poor sportsmanship.

Our team shape was 4-4-2.

Against Man Utd he would have pinned back Evra and Giggs. And a natural Left winger could have done more to stop Nani.
Here he kept cutting in again and messing up our team formation.

I mean Aquilani was one too but at least he had sublime passing.
he did not pass well, he shirked his responsibilities as defensive mid and had Gerrard scurrying to cover for him.

However when you combine this with the fact that with Cole cutting in from the left, you end with 4-2-2-2.

And recently really the only team that has managed to use it on a regular basis is again Real Madrid last season under Pelligrini. They achieved moderate success but when you relate it to the quality of players they had....well we can all agree that they somewhat failed.

So in the end. I blame Hodgson for everything.
We needed Insua yesterday. And we needed him against the abject defeat against Northampton. Thats just another reason why I don't like Hodgson and I think he's screwing this club.

Another liverpool fan on the Red and White forums pointed this out and he said that hodgson has always had more draws than wins at all his previous clubs.
Im not too sure of the validity of the statement but the point is no matter how negative our play was under Rafael Benitez, I think this is worse.

though to his credit he finally took off Poulsen and by bringing Meireles to the centre he did well.

That being said and all the criticisms dished out. Not all the players were to blame.

Agger did better at left-back than Konchesky to be honest. Although he still didnt do a fantastic job you have to remember he's not a natural left-back. He missed the header but thats just football.

Gerrard did well, covering for Poulsen against Sunderlands numerically advantaged midfield trio. And setting up attacks as well.

Meireles was fantastic, although he looked marooned on the right flank. But he covered for Gerrard when he needed to and performed well in the centre later on. Hodgson was too hasty shifting him out there after one performance...

Ngog provided the support that Torres was lacking. He is improving and looked promising. Can't be blamed, he didn't really do much wrong.

Last Mention.
Glen Johnson did well positionally getting the ball many times in the right areas. But he didn't really do much with it. Lack of composure? I dont know.

In the end I blame Hodgson for messing up his tactics again. As he did against Man Utd and Man City. I blame Poulsen too, but not that much, its not his fault he was born into this world an affront to humanity. It not his fault he ended up here. But he's not trying so screw him for that

He awoke suddenly. He made a quick glance around the darkened room.

Of course, a simple solution would be to check the time again. But he knew, he knew that the moment he decided to get up and look at it, the time would be 5:59 and it would be time to get up. His life sucked that way. So he resisted. Fighting against his own retarded mental torment.
Suddenly he heard footsteps. And he listened for the flush of the toilet that would come from his brother's adjacent room that would come without fail upon his awakening. 1 minute...2 minutes... and at 5 minutes he could wait no longer, they're leaving he thought in his confused mind and he jumped out of bed, somehow still having enough sanity to open his door silently.
Darkness greeted him. the living room was lit only by the lights of the city. He crept towards his brother's room and opened the door.
Nope. still fast asleep.
Feeling extremely extremely retarded, he closed the door and went back to his room. But as he did he heard his mother's voice call from the living room, what are you doing, its time to get up.

A resisted the urge to let out a tortured scream and curse the heavens and instead made do with smashing his head into his pillow in disgust.
His life kinda sucked at times.

Lyrics....not appearing. I got this tune and chord progression and everything but NO FREAKING LYRICS ARE APPEARING IN MY HEAD. GOODNESS.

He blinked. Interesting....it was a piano. He wondered what it was doing there in such an odd place. He frowned, as he saw that person approach it. He wondered..was he actually going to play?

He moved behind a few scattered objects as the person looked around tentatively. Seeing no one, he took a deep breath and started playing.

Twas....impossible he thought as the music filled the air. The melody, flowing...twisting its way, filling the space. He had never heard anything like it before. Captivated, he listened and forgot about....everything. The stresses, hankerings of daily life falling away. He just stopped, and listened to the music.
Suddenly the person slipped. And a jarring note jolted him back to reality.What the.... he thought. The visions before him,turning fleeting, slipping away like the last fragments of a dream after a morning awakening.
He blinked and looked at that person at the piano, the spell was broken. It was just him again. He shuddered, and strode off as fast as he could.

This guy has been performing miraculously well for us last season. Lighting up every match. Especially when played in the hole. Hitting the crossbar against Chelsea. And he has the highest goal to minutes ratio of our entire squad last season.
Including Torres. His precision passing definitely helped the side out a lot.
What does he get for it? Joe Cole gets brought in and is set to occupy the position that he thrived in last season. AM at liverpool now belongs to cole.
Aquilani sent to Juventus on Loan.
He needs to adjust to the pace of the game in England. Thats what everyone was saying last season.
So why IS HE GOING BACK TO FREAKING ITALY.
THATS BULLSHIT.
So you cant blame him for saying that he wishes to stay a long time in Italy after he touched down in Juventus.

3. GERRARD PLAYING IN CENTRAL MIDFIELD.
contrary to popular belief Gerrard struggles in central midfield.
We all saw it against Manchester city.
Even when you put him in Central midfield he is going to continue what he does up front as the link up player.
Run forward and pass to Torres/Set up attacks.
He isn't far forward enough to do that.
The only way this can work is by having a powerful defensive midfielder beside him, so he is free to run up.
OH WHAT? WE SOLD HIM?
AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEE.

Gerrard is going to struggle this season. Take my word for it.
Oh and he will only have one midfield partner no? Considering the fact that we managed to "replace" mascherano and aquilani but we added a surplus Joe Cole to occupy the attacking midfield spot this creates a problem of...

3. SHITZ WE CANT SLOT OUR PLAYERS THERE PROPERLY.
we can be certain that Hodgson will definitely play these two players in a 4-3-2-1 central midfield trio spot.
Joe Cole and Gerrard.
Cole is getting the hole
And Gerrard will be forced to drop back to central midfield.
This leaves him with one midfield partner. Meireles or Poulsen.
Okay assuming that both of them have the same calibre as Alonso and Mascherano you end up with a massive situation.
It was the same situation Rafael Benitez had to deal with years ago before settling on a 4-3-2-1.
How to slot 3 awesome midfielders into 2 slots.
Now obviously you say rotate.
However the side will still be missing something.
Our lovely title charge two seasons was based on ALL OF THEM playing.
The Passer, Destroyer and Creator.
Since Poulsen is sub-standard you gonna end up with Gerrard Meireles and Cole playing as a midfield trio most of the time.
I don't really see Gerrard taking up the role of Destroyer very well.
Although he would make a moderately good passer if Poulsen is deployed.
Now if Meireles is deployed next to him. and he runs up to influence play. We gonna end up with Meireles trying to hold the defence on his own.
Bad.
Unless he's way better than Alonso defensively. We screwed.
Big time.
Alonso only thrived cause he had Masch next to him.
Which is why the Alonso-Gerrard partnership never really worked.

Unfortunately the only way we can solve this problem is by freeing up the space in AM.
Which means moving Joe Cole somewhere else.
I dont really see that happening.

4. Kuyt.
This is a controversial issue. But I dont think Kuyt has enough class. Say what you want, hardworking , world cup credentials etc. Whatever. Now that he's out for injury move Cole here. This is where he should be. You could want to put Rodriguez there too, but I think he doesn't give enough width.
Oh but Hodgson loves him. Which is why I see rodriguez leaving in the near future.

The rest of this post will be detailing how awesome I am. And how people have finally noticed. So if you're not up for a little dose of hubris.

Oh yeah right before the Rafflesian Spotlight Audition today which the band and I aced, with the exception of the keyboard being ridiculously soft, everyone who was auditioning was stoning around in the artspace waiting for their turn.
There was a lot of guitar strumming and haha I picked up one and quietly started singing The Man Who Can't Be Moved.

And before I could finish the first verse, someone stopped me and asked if I could sing in the original key. I noticed by then everyone there was looking at me. I said sure but I couldn't play the guitar in the original key. He offered to play it. And yeah they all were watching. AWESOMENESS.
Haha I wish you guys could have seen the look on their faces when I told them I wasn't singing lead for the band.

I had originally planned to go with my own band.
but we ran into a technical difficulty.
Mainly the fact that our guitarist left to form his own band
and that we couldnt find another one.

And now Im in the guitarists other band with my drummer. -.-
its dumb i know.
And Jlee singing.


So basically guitarist abandoned us and screwed our project up.
But he couldnt get a band running either.
But my drummer and I are now helping him out.
Funny world.

The point being he doesn't like pop music as much as I do.
Nvm.
I shall content myself with being a keyboardist this year.
And rock out as lead next year.
Cause I think Ive found a guitarist.
